This guy has very ideological view against Windows

So does jwz ?

And btw, calling the argumentation presented in both cases "ideology" is very far-fetched, and pretty much respectless. Of course more software available helps the success of a platform. If someone doesn't wish their work to contribute to that, that's perfectly fine. You don't have to feel the same way (e.g. I do offer free windows software from time to time) in order to respect this.

Wow. Hold on. I don't see that way. If that's the case, then my conclusion is people keep finding logical ways to get offensive these days. I might choose the wrong word but my intention was far away from being disrespectful. I use tools built by a lot of people I disagree with ideologically because I do not have anything against those people in person.
> Some people have the sociopathic attitude that if it is legal to do something, then that also makes it right.
This is partially true. If morality is sufficient, then legality is absurd. (opposite is true). Everything in the middle is a moving target.

The BSD license appeals to me because I have no preference regarding who uses or modifies my code. But such preference doesn't prevent me from using GPL-licensed nor using proprietary software; I choose software to use based on its functionality, not its license. Ultimately, most of us rely on a limited set of common architectures and hardware developed by corporations for commercial gain in common capitalist tactics. In that case, my idealistic view is "if it works, it's the right thing to do" (even that's debatable, for example, works for 'whom?' and 'whose way')
