pkg: 1.21.3 -> 2.1.0 packages to be REMOVED

For my part everything went well I did the all upgrade kde5 to kd6 it was smooth but pkg didn't give some packages so I checked everything and installed some missing package afterward. Plasma 6 work well. As for signal I don't use it.

Any news yet on the availability of signal-desktop? As I've pointed out, the current version does not work to send messages on 14.2 RELEASE.
Alternatively, if this code is difficult to compile / everyone hates it etc., is it worth running under some form of Linux - in which case, what's the best way?
Many thanks for all suggestions.

pkg is giving me
Code:
$ pkg install signal-desktop
…
pkg: No packages available to install matching 'signal-desktop' have been found in the repositories

and I dread the compilation time of the ports dependencies.
If you run pkg search signal you'll see that there isn't any binary for the app. And as I understood it there is no port for it in FreeBSD. If it's not in the ports, there could be two reason there is no developer or committer for the app or the code source is not in the standard of the FreeBSD community. I think only app with good code are being ported. But in FreeBSD you can also run Linux app if you don't find your happiness in the port tree.

these are the first result of a duckduckgo search.

I hope it helps. sorry if it doesn't
