Cyberpunk 2077

With Cyberpunk 2077 now rated as working well on Mac OS (via Game Porting Tool Kit harnessing Wine 7.7) and Linux via Proton, has anyone tried or managed to run Cyberpunk 2077 on a FreeBSD host, via Wine-Proton or some other implementation?

If not, I'd be tempted to cobble together a machine to try it on. It'd be slow on the hardware side, but enough to know if it's capable of running the game or not.

I don't know much about Wine, but I'm assuming issues might occur if FreeBSD (or the host enviroment as a whole) doesn't have the necessary endpoints that Wine maps the Windows API calls to.

It runs on my SteamDeck, I could not get it to run on Kubuntu, so I haven't even tried FreeBSD. It probably does not work.

I tried this, but didn't manage to get that far with it. Having issues with getting Suyimazu to work as Wine 32-bit won't install using the script, for some reason, potentially due to that installation using FreeBSD-15 at the minute. I then tried to install the game on an actual Windows 10 instance on the same hardware, and that won't run either.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work, especially using the offline manual installer, but I don't have the right configuration nor hardware to be able to test, so I guess that's a fail for me.

I'm going to step away from this, as I feel the obsession creeping in, before I go out and buy a new gaming computer just to try to get it to run on FreeBSD.
