Two options. Contact maintainer of port and offer up the patch or make a Problem Report.

Personally I would try the maintainer first then if unresponsive after 7 days I would proceed to a PR.

Upon further review I see this on freshports:
"There is no maintainer for this port."

So PR is the best option.

I deleted Line 94 but have an error.

Yes, it is line number 94. To prevent the fix from failing, I added a comment instead of deleting the line.

Nice to see it got fixed quickly!

Although, I took a look at the port and the patches and it's kind of odd to me because the patches have very literal names and absolutely no description inside of them - I don't usually look at ports/patches since things work but this is just such a strange way of doing things. I'd expect to see a small description inside or some kind of notice if it's a backported fix so you could go look at the upstream commit.
