Solved Why multiple core types?

I see some ARM boards chip advertising Cortex A72+A53 like Rockchip RK3399.

Why are they using two different CPU types on one implementation? Is one doing floating math or something?
 
the usual reason is that one set of cores are low power (and low performance) in order to support longer battery life. Most of these are designed for mobile applications (cell phones).
