network issues

I recently bought a usb dongle from an online store. its potrayed as an LTE usb modem. i live in a suburb countryside. my only means of internet is by data connection. before using the usb dongle, i was using a hotspot from my smartphone. sometimes, i would connect my phone to my laptop n use it as a usb modem: ue0.

my questions are:

when i m connected to my smartphone as a ue0 connection, wifi or wifibox connection is possible. The address varies. speed is good, comparatively. i could get 51Mbps on wifibox.

when i m connected to my LTE usb dongle, i purchased recently, i can only connect by it. no wifi or wifibox is possible. The local address for the LTE dongle is 192.168.100.1, which i configured through a web browser. The LTE dongle is also a wifi hotspot. The address never changed. speed is slower compared to wifibox or my smartphone as a dongle. it never exceed 30 Mbps.

May i know why this happen. i m not good at networking. i have posted this issue on another post but did not get the answer i am looking for.

Is it 30 Mbyte/s or 30Mbit/s what you're measuring? 300Mbit/s is around 30Mbyte/s, and is the max speed of LTE.

And keep in mind that your phone is probably 5G, which is a LOT faster than LTE or 4G.

Speedtest by Ookla

510.78 ms (jitter: 71.96ms, low: 161.96ms, high: 1605.60ms)

I m just quoting from there:21.39 Mbps. don't ask me to explain.

it's not a 5G phone. The data package i subscribed to is unlimited, but only LTE. n coverage

for 5G is lacking there. not to mention that it would cost more.

Thank you very much.
