Looking for proper cable for Graceful / Safe Shutdown of server

It appears that from the computer's end, it looks like a standard RS-232 COM port. (At least as standard as RS-232 can be.) So I would look into how people use RJ11 connectors for RS-232. A Google search like this:

brings up several pinout diagrams. That might be a good place to start.

IIRC, old APC UPS devices had a cable with an RJ11 on one end and DB-9 on the other, too.

So don't assume people here want to interact with a robot. I do not and will run away.

Ok now thats off my chest did it work for you? This was an unanswered post.
Thank You. Clearly understanding Your point.

But more and more Claude become really helper, mostly in programming (but only in simple tasks, not able to work properly with huge projects). Especially, if You know how to use it.

But for now I prefer mostly “search on specific forum, then in Google” and only after then “asking on specific forum”, and last - this “pesky Claude”. :)
