Solved Is it possible to upgrade plasma5 -> plasma6?

Mostly. Apparently the metapackage (plasma6-plasma) and at least plasma6-discover are not (yet?) available to 14:quarterly or 14:latest on amd64. Though available for 13 and 15 in that architecture.

I download yesterday the latest version of freeBSD in order to test it was not able to find "plasma6-plasma package.
However, "plasma6-plasma-desktop" is available. I was able to install it but it wont boot

Pre-compiled packages are a mess right now, at infrastructure level. I suggest that you get a ports snapshot and start getting comfortable with make && make install. Stuff is in ports, but making repos that have pre-compiled packages for users to download - that has been a mess.
