You can export a Gemini chat as a google doc
and then use it as a source in Notebooklm
and if you edit the google doc you can sync the changes to Notebooklm
this lets you do a web search with Gemini
or use the Youtube or Google maps api and then use that as a source in Notebooklm
for example you can ask Gemini for key moments in a video using the Youtube api
or ask for information about a location like the address and description using the Google maps api
when you export a chat from Gemini to google docs it only exports the text
and not embeded videos, images or maps
You have to export the Gemini conversation as a Google doc and then use that as a source in Notebooklm
using the shareable link from Gemini chat doesnt work
Notebooklm can use a url as a source but its only a single page
and it doesnt follow links or crawl the website
You can add a Youtube url as a source with Notebooklm
which will give you a transcript of the video
You cant use the Youtube api in Notebooklm to get key moments in a video with timestamps
but you can use the Youtube api with Gemini export the chat to a google doc and use that as a source
Just been using the two for work purposes and thought id mention it
because its rather useful for research
and then use it as a source in Notebooklm
