[Wine 9.0r3] : Experimental WOW64

Hi everybody,

everybody knows Wow64.
Now, Wine implements it.
But, it doesn't seem to work for me for a simple reason :
.wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/ is not populated.

Thereby, wine-devel complains :
wine: failed to load L"\\??\\C:\\windows\\syswow64\\ntdll.dll" error c0000135

What should be done ? A workaround, maybe ?

As far as I know wow64 doesn't work yet, so for now using the 32 bit prefix is mandatory until "wow64" is perfected.

Not with
emulators/wine-devel version 9.3. Just tested, syswow64 isn't populated in new prefixes. In old ones, isn't updated. Creating a new prefix with WINEARCH=win32 variable works.

This patch can no longer be used because the src file has changed a few times at this point.

You mean this https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/commit/bdc11ee079878fdd3fa3ed8ac274cbd6effba59d? Seems straightforward, move https://github.com/freebsd/freebsd-...53bcd05b1293680acecf282832d00dabaf525ccR7-R20 into get_alternate_wineloader, replace argv[1] with ret.
