I am using a custom kernel mainly because I use traffic shaping with pf.
My confusion is with building support into the kernel versus as a module. This is in regards to touchpad support. It seems if I build all the modules, with my current kernel configuration, that the touchpad works, but if I build select modules and have ig4 built into the kernel, then it doesn't work.
I can't seem to build ig4 separately as it is not under sys/modules, so I don't know what path to provide for it.
Perhaps I'm building the wrong ig4 into the kernel?
