(Using Bastille from ports Version 0.10.20231013)
FreeBSD 13.2-p4, AMD64
Dear valued forum members,
I am new to jails and spend the recent evenings following the official bastille manual to learn.
Setting up different FBSD jails worked fine so far.
Here is what I'm struggling with:
Cannot stop bastille jails if bastille_enable="yes" in rc.conf
- If the jails start with the system, I can interact with the jails but not stop.
Trying to stop the containers using
- If bastille_enable="no" in the rc.conf, I can start the jails and stop them using
I did my research but don't know what to look for anymore.
Any ideas?
Best Regards,
Daniel

Trying to stop the containers using
bastille stop jail_name
nothing happens. After hitting return, the cursor jumps to the next line and keeps blinking forever until I hit CTRL-C.- If bastille_enable="no" in the rc.conf, I can start the jails and stop them using
bastille start jail_name
, and bastille stop jail_name
without issues.I did my research but don't know what to look for anymore.
Any ideas?
