Multimedia Keys on Thinkpad x250 with FreeBSD 13.2

the XF86AudioLowerVolume etc. keys don't make it neither into xev not kbdscan. /boot/loader.conf has those

Do I need devd or iichid and what would I configure. E.g. vermaden has some great stuff, but not on those multimedia keys AFAIK.
