Mount and view a dump backup

I have a backup of filesystem produced by a dump tool from base system.
Is is possible to mount dump file like an ISO image?

I have backed up several machines with dump(8). I see that I can restore single files from a dump file.
How can I browse the files inside a dump file?

Yeah, the interactive mode should allow you to do this. If that fails you could restore(8) the whole thing to a file based mdconfig(8) and copy the files from there.
