We recently ran a community survey around the use of FreeBSD on desktops and laptops. To all of you, who participated: a big thank you for taking the time and sharing your thoughts and insights!
We now summarized the survey results in an 8 page report, with some charts and a lot of details summarizing the various comments, recommendations and remarks that were raised.
It may be worth a read, particularly if you plan to join the upcoming Laptop and Desktop Workgroup Call, which is scheduled for Monday next week. It will help get a better understanding on the various viewpoints and ideas in the community.
For lack of a better place to publish, I've left the document on Google Docs for now. I'm open for recommendations for alternatives!
