How to update FreeBSD for a PC without Internet connection (ie. behind firewall)?

I have a machine behind a firewall. How do it update it, ie. to the execute these commands normally of there is an Internet connection:

# freebsd-update fetch
# freebsd-update install

?

Open a hole in the firewall so it can actually fetch the updates? This is all plain HTTP(S) traffic, you could configure a proxy that provides a way out of the network? There's no way (nothing easy at least) of doing this "offline".
