recently I installed a system with an encrypted root pool. The installer asks first for the keyboard-setup of the system to install and later on for the pwd for the root-pool-encryption. But the boot loader does not use that keyboard-layout. So, with a more complicated geli-pwd one is regularly looked-out. At least - it looks like to be the same problem.

With debian-LUKS is not such a problem. But I would like to use FreeBSD. Does anyone know a proper workaround or will be there a correction of the installer and bootloader?
