Sparkee Oct 25, 2024 #1 For a few servers I must use postfix, what is the best way of replacing dma with postfix?
OP Sparkee Oct 25, 2024 Thread Starter #2 This seems to be working, thanks for dvl@ 's suggestion: sudo service postfix stop sudo pkg delete postfix sudo pkg install postfix sudo mkdir /usr/local/etc/mail/ sudo install -m 0644 /usr/local/share/postfix/mailer.conf.postfix /usr/local/etc/mail/mailer.conf sudo postmap /usr/local/etc/postfix/virtual sudo postmap /usr/local/etc/postfix/transport sudo service postfix restart

OP Sparkee Oct 29, 2024 Thread Starter #3 Update: above didn't completely fix the issue, I also updated /etc/mail/mailer.conf with the following content: Code: # Execute the Postfix sendmail program, named /usr/local/sbin/sendmail # sendmail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail send-mail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail mailq /usr/local/sbin/sendmail newaliases /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
