Im running FreeBSD14.2-Release on my laptop and im using FF as my main browser - rescently i started to cry as its so bad, slow and laggy - my al 8 cores being used all the time if i play youtube, do something , reddit just laggs the f out ... but same issues was on PC. FF started to be a huge issue in past year when you try to open few tabs and i usually have 10+ .
This is my firefox right now and its not that bad compared that sometimes system is 100% busy due to ff.

I am using more Qutebrowser than FF now. It works good. If they will update webkit2-gtk3 for the new version I will install luakit which I like it.

Luakit is awesome but i need something i can sync my history, favorites and passwords.
Wasn't there somebody recently who tracked down FF slowness to non-hardware acceleration graphics drivers?
Hmmm, very odd as my PC was with nVidia. I did see difference with AMD being worst but nVidia helped a lot - time to dig deeper to see what is possible
One more reason to give LibreWolf a go. Try and compare.
Does it has a sync ?
