13.3 or 14.0?Currently, I use Mizuma to install steam with wine-proton to launch Dota2.
This allow me to play in multiplayer mode (note that security.bsd.unprivileged_proc_debug must be enabled, else vac complain).
Using linux-steam allow me to launch Dota2, but for some reason vac is not very happy. So I guess one would need to investigate what feature is needed by vac.
Because I'm done with games.
I wonder if solo bot matches would work?I was not able to play it online with linux-steam-utils. It is unnecessary for me because I'm done with games.
steamcmd
, tame it with an open-source Steam emulator (Goldberg), download improved bot scripts from a git repo (OpenHyperAI, but also used RMMAI), and I'm good to go! (notes) steamcmd
through c7 and rl9 briefly on FreeBSD 14.1 but got some error before being able to log-in; gave up quick on that though and just went to WC3 through Wine with some Dota AI map
