Shell Correct git-based process for patches/changes

I have written some modifications for RC scripts (ergo this forum) and I haven't seen any action on it. That's fine, but I'm not entirely certain I'm posting in the right spot. If someone's familiar, could they please advise?

Github pull requests are still somewhat experimental. If you want to get things moving you probably want to join the freebsd-current@ mailing list and ping the developers there.
