Chrome 14.1 can't select multiple tabs with shift

I can't select multiple tabs with shift anymore in chrome 14.1

Are you selecting say 5 tabs by using shift key? As is common in file managers like xfe n windows explorer?

Yes.

The screenshot above shows Chromium with two tabs selected.

The screenshot below shows Chromium with the same two tabs selected.

It's confusing. I mean, two tabs are selected, but the browser fails to show that they are selected.

If someone can find the code commits that relate to this ridiculous UX, I'll be grateful.
