Solved Can I switch between sc(4) and vt(4) without restarting?

The title says pretty much everything.

I want to switch between the two without restarting. Is it possible?

No, see sc(4):

     kern.vty
            When both syscons and vt(4) have been compiled into the kernel,
             the one to use for the system console can be selected by setting
             this variable to ‘sc’ or ‘vt’.  If not set, syscons provides the
             default system console.

kern.vty is a loader tunable and can only be set before the kernel boots.
