Boot problem on Orange Pi PC Plus

Hello,

I am trying to install FreeBSD 13.2 on an Orange Pi PC+ board (AllWinner H3). So far I've created a bootable SD card by using the GENERIC SD card image and a a corresponding binary of the u-boot from https://pkg.freebsd.org/FreeBSD:13:amd64/quarterly/All/u-boot-orangepi-pc-plus-2023.07.02.pkg

Problem is:

When booting from the SD card, the system keeps freezing at the same point every time after this message:

Kernel args: (nul)

Does anybody know how to solve it?

it might not hang just it loses video output
use a serial console
or try to identify its ip and ssh in

Thanks. I was able to connect via SSH to it.

Do you know why the video stops working though?

video is provided by u-boot
afaik there is no kernel fb driver
you may try to set console to efi
