When launching K3b "The CD and DVD Kreator" in LXDE. I am receiving an error message box that says "No optical drive found." , along with "Make sure HAL daemon is running, it is used by K3b for finding devices."
In regards to the HAL daemon; It was required for getting LXDE to run properly...
I am trying to sort out permissions to device cd0 so that sysutils/k3b-kde4 can see the device. For now when it starts it shows error: No optical drive found. When k3b is started as root is sees the device properly.
I have all the permissions set up and I can mount cd0 as the user...

I've issues when trying to read Audio CDs with some kde applications, with vlc everything is fine and also cdrecord and cdda2wav work, so it has not to do with wrong permissions.
Starting k3b with inserted audio cd in a terminal crashes and gives following output:
k3b(1393)/kdeui...
