I am trying to get my iPhone to connect to my FreeBSD-14.1p5 desktop. I get repeated pings from the iPhone while tethered but no prompt to authorize the connection. In /var/log/messages I see these:

I am able to connect my iPhone mobile wifi hotspot with my Freebsd and IP also got assigned. I am unable to access internet and ping. Android devices connectivity is working fine as i am able access internet from it.

My 13 year old Windows box just died. No point resurrecting, as it's Windows 8.1, but I do need a new way to back up my iPhone (that does not involve Apple's cloud). It's running iOS 16.5.1(c).
