Greetings,
I am having an issue with post install and the install disc1 iso of FreeBSD 14 CURRENT arm64 on macOS M2 via Parallels 19. It seems to have installed, but after a few moments of running, either the 14 installer or the installed OS, I receive console spam of this error message...
SSHGuard in combination with pf on FreeBSD 14.0-RELEASE (fresh vanilla installation on Hetzner VPS) is behaving strangely. After starting, it either terminates immediately or after some variable time, indicating a potential issue with pf. Below are the details:

I'm having a problem getting poudriere to cross compile ports when using a 13.1 jail. 13.0 works fine. The error was "No working C compiler found. Tried /nvb-bin/usr/bin/cc and gcc."
I create the jails with the following:
poudriere jails -c -j 130aarch64 -v 13.0-RELEASE -m http -x -a...
E.g. i have some mismatch between point release 6 and 7 when i run freebsd-version -kru.
And one symbol tslog became unknown preventing loading of some modules.
E.g.

This refers to 13.0-RELEASE (without any point release)...
Hi everyone, I'm having problem when cross compiling openssl from AMD64 to ARM64.

I am experiencing generally slow system on my arm64 (rk3399) box - slow opening of new tmux pane, slow opening new zsh instance, slow startup of vim, slow opening files in vim. All config files are the same as on my 10 years old amd64 laptop which works as expected. Same arm64 hardware with...
I'm stumped with a problem and would appreciate any pointers for troubleshooting.

I followed felix's instructions on this post and now have a working FreeBSD 13-RELEASE-p3 (arm64) system on my Orange Pi R1 Plus with one of the ethernet ports functioning fine.
However, the USB (2.0) ports are not working - neither the built in port, nor the ones on the add-on board that came...
I recently procured some of the excellent Rockpi-S boards, which come with full size usb and ethernet, onboard audio out, optional nand flash, optional wifi / BT (over SDIO), as well as optional POE all in a small relatively inexpensive package running on the RK3308.
My personal use-case is to...
I'm currently playing around with an ThunderX2 server from Gigabyte (R281-T91). For the moment it's a machine I purchased for learning more about ARM64, experimentation, and testing (I've until now been limited to just low powered SBC's). Eventually I want to use it as a build box for ports...
I have аn ITX mainboard with BE-M1000 SoC.
This is an eight-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor. I tried to install the FreeBSD on this mainboard. I used the FreeBSD-12.2-RELEASE-arm64-aarch64-memstick.img. An attempt to install from USB flash drive was unsuccessful. The system does not find the boot...
Hello all,
I have been playing around with FreeBSD on the Pine64-LTS board. I have not seemed to be able to get images I have built with crochet nor the RaspBSD built images to boot on this board. Scrounging around on the internet, it seems that there is a difference in the needed U-Boot...
Hey guys,
Been trying to get FreeBSD installed on the Pine A64+ (Rev B, 2016-02-24; 1GB), but have run into problems. Was hoping someone might have some pointers on how to hop over those.
I've tried a number of images but not having the TTL cable yet I'm stuck with those that show stuff on my...
