I am curious if downloading the source and then gmake and gcc would work?
I suspect many possibly not up to date enough dependencies?
Has anyone tried?
I saw this ffmpeg install new version built with poudriere
It looked gnarley...with reboots and messing with system....
bit nervous to try it...
