Hey there!
I have been toying with the 14.2 as of recent on some machines, and something which striked me is that I get a black screen when loading the amdgpu kmod.
This is known even in the errata, and there was a solution... but I still only get to a black screen even after installing...
I just installed linux-steam-utils on my main machine after trying it out in a VM yesterday but either it's no longer working or I did something wrong.
This is all I get when running the steam command after following the steps I got after installing it and rebooting (Linux is already enabled)...
I've been trying to install FreeBSD on my PC (Switching from Arch Linux) and for some reason installing the drm-kmod package the handbook says to install I no longer even get a console when I reboot. Instead when I boot everything appears to be successful and then randomly my monitor goes black...
Will the 2.5 gb ethernet re driver be in the base for 14.2 or will we have to continue to use the one in ports? It comes standard on many motherboards now.
