what format does the forum use for text and code in the editor

i keep all my how to guides in org mode format
and when posting them on the forum it involves lots of manual copying and pasting of the text

it would really speed things up if i could convert my org mode files
using pandoc to the forums "text format"

Forums usually use BBCode. I don't see it in the list of supported formats.

Oh, and we have some additional custom BBCodes. Like [code]...[/code], [port]...[/port] and [man]...[/man]. See https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/formatting-guidelines.49535/
