Yesterday I upgraded Qtox from 1.17.6 to 1.18.2. The upgrade removed the ability to open the emoji panel so that I can no longer send emojis. Incoming emojis display just fine. I have opened a bug (PR 285987) but I wonder if this is something simple that can be fixed, like fining where the emoji file(s) should be and moving them there if they are not.
If anyone has a suggestion for an immediate work around I would appreciate it.
