Solved I improved emulators/yuzu, however it is deprecated in ports, and read only in codeberg what can I do to submit my improved version ?

I tested many yuzu forks these week (torzu, sudachi, and citron) on FreeBSD after porting them, and all of them were utterly broken in one aspect or another.
Yuzu original however doesn't have all the flaws these forks share like random black textures, shader cache corruption, or performance degradation.
I thought about to create my own fork, but quickly gave up the idea, because it doesn't make sense to rename a product and add some features if it can be accomplished on the original product.
Besides I am quite fond of the name, and I like yuzu as it is without new icons, or naming scheme.

The first step I took was to ask the maintainer whether he wants to continue to develop yuzu with me, but I didn't get a response for days.
I created a new yuzu port, too, because I didn't like some aspects of the old yuzu port like the deprecated QT5 or the forced webengine option on default pkgs.
Also did I remove some unneeded patches after updating some externals.

Since my yuzu port is altered, can I just submit it, and get the deprecated yuzu port from the ports list replaced by my port ?
I plan to continue to improve yuzu from now on so, it would be great if I could maintain the port :)
