I'm trying to figure out how to setup xorg on a Dell Precision 7710.
When I run 'pciconf -lv | grep -B3 display'
the information I get is:
vgapci@pci0:1:0:0: class=0x030000 rev=0x83 hdr=0x00 vendor=0x1002 device=0x6820 subvendor=0x1028 subdevice=0x16da
Vendor: 'Advanced Micro Devices [AMD/ATI]'
Device: 'Venus XTX [Radeon HD 8890M/R9 M275x/M375X]'
I'm having difficulty figuring out which driver to use and how to setup drm so that I can get Mate working with xorg. If I'm understanding properly it seems that there isn't a discreet intel video card in the system. I may need to keep trying multiple iterations to figure it out, but figured I would ask first in case somebody else has already figured it out.
I may have also missed something (in documentation or searching online for an answer). If that's the case I would appreciate a point in the right direction.
