Beelink SER9 Pro

I am using AZW Bee-link Ser7 7840HS. This MiniPC works smoothly on FreeBSD-14.2, but without sound, and the connection drops out annoyingly after every reboot. I hope that FreeBSD-15 will recognise Realtek ALC897 audio and Realtek RTL8125 with Intel AX200 network processors properly.

Ok, I'm using a Beelink SER5. At first, I couldn't get sound to work, but a post by user nivit@ solved it for me. I had to add to /boot/device.hints

hint.hdaa.1.nid20.config="as=1"
hint.hdaa.1.nid27.config="as=1 seq=15"

Then sound worked. It is the SER5, not the 9, (nor the 7), but vienuolis it might be worth a shot to try.

Thank you very much.

Initially, Bluetooth is not something I'm interested in. Regarding WiFi, it's expected not to work for now, although I'm not sure if that will change in version 15. I'm not a gamer, but as a software developer, I am interested in being able to fully utilize the video and audio card, as well as being able to use the Ethernet.

Wifi on my Beelink (and another Beelink, EQR6) works but, as is typical in FreeBSD, much slower than Linux. (The EQR6 is now running RH, and on wireless). Not sure what you meant about Wifi not working if you meant not work at all, this isn't the case with my Beelinks, but it is slower. I did try Wifi Box on the SER5, but though I got it to work, it was still pretty slow (for me, and there's a good chance I erred in setting it up.) I will say that Wifi, in my experience on FreeBSD, is fast enough so that one can watch youtube videos without problems.
